Voters Decide on a Bold Future and a Fresh Start After Elections
The people of South Fulton have spoken, and their voices point us toward a bold future and a fresh start for our city.
In the recent municipal elections, voters chose Councilmember Carmalitha Gumbs as our next mayor. Her District 2 council seat will be filled by longtime South Fulton resident and government veteran Aaron Johnson. Voters also returned two experienced leaders to the City Council. Councilmember Jaceey Sebastian will continue to serve the residents of District 4, and Councilmember Natasha Williams-Brown will continue her service to District 6.
Thanksgiving Meal Distribution: Neighbors Helping Neighbors
On Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, the City of South Fulton once again demonstrated what it means to be a community that cares. The city hosted its 8th Annual Thanksgiving Holiday Meal Distribution at the Welcome All Park Recreation Center, providing a record 2,000 families with meals ahead of the holiday.
Councilmember Willis extends a special thank-you to the volunteers, staff, partners and sponsors who helped make the event possible. Their dedication shows that South Fulton is at its best when neighbors join together to support one another.
